It has been said that time is an overlapping circle. In fact there are many theories about many things. Some strongly supported by solid evidence. Others, just enough to let you know it isn’t all myth.
I’m Gerald Winston, I’m a curious person who has had his interest piqued by the History Channel. That in turn caused me to read and research. I’m not a trained Professor of Archeology, Biblical History, nor an Astro Physicist. Just a plain guy with common sense and curiosity.
There has been much presented and written about “Ancient Astronauts” or Aliens, ET’s etc. What’s in a name? But it seems to me that the evidence is irrefutable that for thousands of years man has been visited by off worlders. Of that there is no doubt. But as they say “The Devil Is In the Details”. And much of those are subject to wide debate and interpretation.
Some would say that to entertain those ideas is blasphemy and is only thought up by those wanting to deny God. Some no doubt would say aha! That’s proof there is no God. But I say aha! Thank you, it’s more proof there is. Some speak a truth for opposite reasons. That too is an irrefutable fact. I contend that almighty God in the vastness of the universe created more life than we can imagine.
Therefore it is conceivable that he has servants of many colors and stripes, and shapes. Some of those have at his direction may well have helped man learn and progress, and even build for him those places we know man’s ability alone could not have. done. Things that even with our modern equipment we still cannot do. We can fly, but that didn’t necessarily begin with Orville and Wilbur.
For example we have since learning to fly, observed things on earth that could only be seen from the sky. Like the Plain of Nazca in Peru. Gigantic glyphs and runways. We read about the Plateaus of Solomon, and now aerial photography shows them like huge stepping stones across the desert.
Legend has it that Solomon had a flying carpet that would hold him and his entire staff. Well that’s a cute story, it’s a wonder he wasn’t credited for having a Genie in a Bottle also. He was accredited as to having another device of great ability, but we aren’t interested in that right now. Just in his flying ability.
Those that have studied the Apothecia , ancient writings the Pope felt should be left out of the Bible because the information was to dangerous, have concluded that Solomon did however actually have access to a quote unquote “flying machine”, another word for airplane. Also that these plateaus like stepping stones were landing strips for refueling and so forth.
My, my how the suppositions propagate. As I said, I’m the curious sort; so for some odd reason I decided to research the death of Solomon. I found that exactly what age and what of was a matter of much varied conjecture. That tells us a whole lot of nothing I thought. But where he died was another matter altogether.
No one, absolutely no one would even hazard a guess.
Hmmm! I thought that was interesting. It’s only logical that if you didn’t know where; then there would be much speculation as to exactly when and how. I mused, maybe he died in a plane crash on one of those plateaus. I got a laugh at that idea. Then I thought about it and it really wasn’t all that funny. Like I said, I’m a curios person, and maybe sometimes foolish. But I decided I had to have a look see at those plateaus. So I wiped out my life savings on a long shot lark and headed for the Holy Land.
Today’s technologies are such that they can even check for potential mineral deposits from the air. I don’t know exactly how to describe the way it works, but kind of like a long range big radar based metal detector.
I chartered a long range helicopter equipped with the sophisticated ground scanners needed; a technician to operate the equipment and a pilot to fly the copter was also hired.
The technician said he thought my mission highly laughable because the chance of finding valuable deposits on those plateaus was just about nil. He didn’t know what I was really looking for.
One big nothing after another, until the sixth of the seven plateaus; then wham, we got a significant ping indicating a small concentration of metal. I had the pilot set us down and I jumped out. The technician followed with a sack for collecting samples and a pick. He said where do you want to dig? I thought that’s a hard question to answer.
Then I spied a fairly high medium size pile of rocks about one hundred yards away. I said I’d like to try the pile of rocks. I got the old are you nuts look, and the technician said oh well, it’s your time and money.
We sauntered over to the pile and began tearing it down. After about a half an hour; I uncovered bit of a round metallic rod that looked a lot like aluminum with a fragment of cloth like material attached. We continued to excavate until we had all the mangled and flattened pieces of what was obviously a one man ultra light mini airplane.
No bodies or bones with it. So who the pilot might have been we will never know. Could it have been Solomon, who knows? I mean aluminum frame when aluminum wasn’t even known then.
The one fact that leaves everything still open to mysterious speculation is the plate we found on part of the frame. In fact that information throws everything back to square one and implies more questions than it answers.
For one, we have no idea how long the wreckage was buried in that rock pile. But we do know the plate was stamped, US Patent Number 12349849, June 4, 2083.
We all agreed to never speak of what we’d found. I guess like the early Popes, we felt some information was too dangerous to get out.
