This legendary Chinese tale begins in the year 286 BC. It is allegedly both history and prophecy yet to be fulfilled. There was in those days a Tower of Power called The Citadel of YingYang, which was located in the far away high mountains of Tibachoa. It was supposedly a semi pyramid in design, but quite tall in relationship to its base. It starts out according to legend with a base that is twenty feet high and two hundred feet on each side forming a square. Then another level on top of that, also twenty feet high, but with a base of only one hundred and ninety feet on each side forming a square.
This pattern would repeat itself with the width dimensions getting smaller with each twenty foot high level. This left a walking surface ten feet wide around each level. There was apparently ten levels. On the top level as legend goes, set into a golden pedestal were three tall scepters. Each had a crystal orb mounted at its top. The left scepter had a black orb and was charged with evil Satanic forces and energies. The right orb was flawless and crystal clear. It was charged with all that is good and Holy, the forces and energies from He Who Is.
Both orbs fed their forces into a larger Rose colored orb that sat between them. This orb then radiated both forces out into the world to influence and sift the hearts and souls of man.
The legend went on to say that if a worthy person could reach the top he could raise the clear orbed scepter and destroy the black evil orb with it, thus ending evil in the world. It was also alleged to be true that only a worthy person could reach the top level. Evil and it minions could only reach the first nine levels.
Interestingly enough, only one being, good or evil could occupy any one level at a given time. It has been said that since time began, evil beings had been battling each other for positions on the nine levels. The reason was the praise and other perks they would get from his Satanic Majesty for vanquishing worthy ones, thus there was much vying for vanquishing rights.
Sadly, many a good man had fallen to their powers, and the evil laughter would echo through the mountains for days each time a good soul fell.
Now, the Chu brothers were well aware of all the information you have just read, it was common knowledge to the peoples of that area. The Chu brothers, Won and Ton were in the midst of their morning prayers and meditations when a spirit appeared before them. The spirit said He Who Is was well pleased with them and that He Who Is desired they team up and conquer the Citadel of YingYang in his name.
Now the brothers Chu were indeed stunned by the visitation, but quickly agreed they should obey the spirits wooing. So the next morning they set out, Won the Younger, and Ton the Elder. The journey in itself would be long and arduous. Their first stop was in the village of Ping Sing Whoo, there they took the balance of their fortunes to pay Master Fur Tincoki, the great blacksmith to make them the finest swords and shields possible. The blacksmith upon hearing their intentions used a special meteorite that had fallen from the stars and mixed it in with the steel to make the finest swords ever made.
Now appropriately armed and shielded the brothers began the rest of the trek to the high far away mountains of Tibachoa.
They knew the journey would take about fifty days of brisk and tiresome walking. They knew not how they might sustain themselves on the journey but trusted the spirit would provide.
After a while they noticed a festival and feasting going on not to far from the road. They were tired and very hungry and Ton said to Won, do you suppose this might be provided for us by the spirit? Won looked very closely and said definitely not, I see other things going on that would be contrary to the spirit. So the brothers went on. They were getting very, very hungry when along the roadside was a stone shelter. It wasn’t huge but it had a roof, a spring gurgled up from a pipe in the floor, and some kind soul left a bowl of nice fruit on a table. A sign read, “Welcome worthy ones” They decided this was provided by the spirit as they could see no evil in it.
Having rested and filled their stomachs, they continued their journey. A few days later they came around a bend in the trail and it was blocked by four really oversize ugly looking bandits.
The bandits demanded they surrender their money, their clothes, and their swords and shields, or else. The brothers considered the options and decided to give the bandits part of what they ask for, namely the “or else”, I’m not sure the bandits had that particular or else in mind, but nevertheless that’s what they got.
Having taken care of that matter, the brothers Ton and Won continued their journey commenting to each other that their well made swords worked very well indeed. It was that way the rest of the trip, overcoming temptations and obstacles many times.
Upon arrival at the base of the citadel the brothers Ton and Won were almost over whelmed by the sight that lay ahead. There was more monsters of every kind than one would care to count. Some were ten feet tall, some had six arms with a sword in each hand, some walked on all fours with gapping maws that could snap a man in half with a single bite. The variety was almost endless, each more fearsome than the other.
The brothers then saw a sign in front of them as they got very close to entering the field of monsters surrounding the citadel. It said, at least one monster must be slain for the first ladder to appear to lead to the next level. Each time a monster is slain, another ladder to the next level will appear. Don’t forget, only one being at a time on any given level, if there are two or more for more than six minutes, all will perish by the combined forces of the orbs.
The two brothers discussed strategies and decided to at least take out all the monsters any where near the base. Then Won said to Ton “You are the Elder and better fighter, therefore you ascend the first ladder, take out the monster and ascend to the next level. I will follow you one level at a time to guard your back against more monsters that will be coming from the outer fringes of this field.
Time would be of the essence because if one had not slain the monster in less than six minutes, both would perish and none would ascend to the next level. The two brothers were painfully aware of that condition to say the least. They knelt down and had prayer. Upon arising they drew their swords and charged with all the speed their feet would give them.
Surprise had been in their favor, and before most of the monsters even knew what was afoot they had been cut down. Ton scrambled up the first level while Won stayed at field level to cover his back. Then one level at a time they advanced. Monsters were starting to climb up again by the time Ton had secured the sixth level and Won had followed to the fifth level. What a team.
The monsters advance towards the seventh level that Won was now on was slowed significantly by their infighting level to level each wanting to be the one to slay a worthy one. They were dimwitted like most evil beings as they didn’t realize that slow down factor was working in favor of a worthy one. Only one more level for Ton to go.
Won mistakenly thought Ton was busy slaying the last monster on the ninth and final level for monsters. So Won scrambled up the ladder from the seventh to the eight level to discover Ton had just finished with that monster, a tough one that almost ran Ton out of time. Big mistake, Won and Ton were now occupying the same level on the opposite side from the ladder. The six minute rule still applied. There was a heated debate about who would vacate the eight level and who would go on to the ninth. Time was swiftly vanishing and Won suddenly realized it.
Then without any farther debating the issue and no time to get around to the ladder, Won shouted good luck brother I love you, and with that he leaped over the edge. Won knew in his heart that if he survived the twenty foot drop, he’d probably at least break one or both legs, and lay helpless to the next monster if one came before Ton could complete the mission.
Won never hit the hard stone of that next lower level, instead he got one big surprise. He was now standing on the tenth level by the scepters. Ton the Elder had just finished off the last monster with only seconds to spare, and started looking for the ladder to the top, when he heard a voice. He looked up and it was his younger brother Won. Won said stay put Ton, I’ll explain it after we get down. At this point that was agreeable to Ton who was too stunned to even utter a sound, so he nodded Okay.
Won grasped the scepter with the clear orb and smashed the black orb with it. Satan was not yet destroyed, but his influence on the earth had just went south, permanently. The monsters what were left of them vanished in a wisp of smoke. Won shouted down to Ton to descend the Citadel and he would follow. Once both were on the ground, Ton hugged his younger brother Won with great joy. The brother he thought lost was well and safe. They were both overjoyed by mission accomplished. Won explained to Ton that when he leaped and was transported to the top, a voice from above had said, your willingness to sacrifice without hesitation has made you most worthy and I have placed you here. I think it was the voice of He Who Is said Won. Ton said I don’t doubt that a bit.
On the way home, they noticed much change, not a hint of sinful doings anywhere, peace reigned, and all were more interested in helping each other than themselves. The brothers never got any acknowledgements from man, because man knew not. And the brothers needed not.
